Benchmark indices BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 tumbled over 2 percent on Friday, snapping a two-day rally, in line with weak global markets as persistent concerns over the US–Iran conflict continued to weigh on investor sentiment and dampen hopes of de-escalation.

The 30-share benchmark index ended at 73583.22 down by -1690.23 points or by -2.25 % and then NSE Nifty was at 22819.6 down by -486.85 points or by -2.09 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 74904.91 and intraday low of 73534.41 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 23186.1 and intraday low of 22804.55

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Rs. 2389.85,+0.49%), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (Rs. 1842.15,+0.37%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (Rs. 295.40,+0.10%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Reliance Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1348.25,-4.55%), InterGlobe Aviation Ltd. (Rs. 4099.70,-4.54%), Bajaj Finance Ltd. (Rs. 844.35,-4.32%), State Bank of India (Rs. 1020.05,-3.82%), Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 233.10,-3.76%), among others.
