Indian benchmark indices extended losses, tracking losses in global equities as investors parsed mixed views about the ongoing talks between the US and Iran.

At 12:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 74043.17 down by -1230.28 points or by -1.63 % and then NSE Nifty was at 22909.2 down by -397.25 points or by -1.7 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 74904.91 and intraday low of 73916.72 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 23186.1 and intraday low of 22905.95

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Rs. 2415.10,+1.55%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1803.60,+0.49%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (Rs. 296.00,+0.30%), ITC Ltd. (Rs. 296.15,+0.14%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were InterGlobe Aviation Ltd. (Rs. 4118.65,-4.10%), Reliance Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1355.90,-4.01%), Bajaj Finance Ltd. (Rs. 850.00,-3.68%), Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (Rs. 1694.95,-2.93%), HDFC Bank Ltd. (Rs. 760.20,-2.75%), among others.
