The Sensex and Nifty50 continued to trade in green during the noon trading session as investor sentiment strengthened amid positive global cues after US President Donald Trump indicated that the war could be nearing an end.

At 12:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 77940.65 up by 374.49 points or by 0.48 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24160.9 up by 132.85 points or by 0.55 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 78526.25 and intraday low of 77745.47 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24303.8 and intraday low of 24079.95

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were InterGlobe Aviation Ltd. (Rs. 4376.40,+3.31%), UltraTech Cement Ltd. (Rs. 11614.35,+2.09%), ICICI Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1302.80,+1.99%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 3242.80,+1.74%), Asian Paints Ltd. (Rs. 2257.00,+1.64%), among others.
