Equity benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty bounced back sharply on Tuesday after two days of massive decline, following a drop in crude oil prices and recovery in global markets amid hopes that the conflict in West Asia could conclude soon.
At 10:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 78171.06 up by 604.9 points or by 0.78 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24160.6 up by 132.55 points or by 0.55 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 78526.25 and intraday low of 77745.47 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24303.8 and intraday low of 24079.95
