Benchmark equity indices Sensex and Nifty rebounded in late afternoon trade on Thursday, turning higher after early weakness, aided by a rally in blue-chip Larsen & Toubro and optimism following the Economic Survey, which projected GDP growth of 6.8–7.2 per cent for the next fiscal year, driven by the cumulative impact of structural reforms.
At 14:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 82602.59 up by 257.91 points or by 0.31 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25412.9 up by 70.15 points or by 0.28 %.
