Indian benchmark indices continued to trade higher during noon trading session supported by buying in index heavyweights including Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, IndusInd Bank Ltd. HCL Technologies Ltd.Bajaj Finserv Ltd. Infosys Ltd. among others.

At 12:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 79595.57 up by 1042.37 points or by 1.33 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24166.7 up by 315.05 points or by 1.32 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 79609.76 and intraday low of 78776.06 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24182.45 and intraday low of 23903.65
