Equity benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty continued to trade higher on Monday driven by buying in HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank post their earnings announcement and continuous foreign fund inflows.
At 10:35 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 79182.2 up by 629 points or by 0.8 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24010.7 up by 159.05 points or by 0.67 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 79260.64 and intraday low of 78776.06 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24061.45 and intraday low of 23903.65
