Indian benchmark equity indices BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 are trading higher after paring their opening losses on Thursday.

At 12:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 77993.43 up by 949.14 points or by 1.23 % and then NSE Nifty was at 23645.25 up by 208.05 points or by 0.89 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 78053.88 and intraday low of 76665.77 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 23658.1 and intraday low of 23298.55

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 229.40,+3.31%), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (Rs. 1874.90,+2.85%), ICICI Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1394.25,+2.76%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1730.00,+2.21%), Reliance Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1263.60,+2.01%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (Rs. 3199.35,-0.89%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1298.90,-0.78%), Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1404.30,-0.62%), HCL Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 1424.70,-0.52%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Rs. 3268.90,-0.12%), among others.
