Benchmark equity indices Sensex and Nifty declined on Thursday dragged down by IT stocks after Wipro warned of a weak quarter ahead amid global uncertainties.

At 10:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 77006.9 down by -37.39 points or by -0.05 % and then NSE Nifty was at 23408.25 down by -28.95 points or by -0.12 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 77099.1 and intraday low of 76665.77 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 23434.6 and intraday low of 23298.55

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were ICICI Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1376.00,+1.42%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1710.00,+1.03%), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (Rs. 1839.00,+0.88%), Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 223.80,+0.79%), NTPC Ltd. (Rs. 361.40,+0.58%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were HCL Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 1389.75,-2.96%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1283.20,-1.97%), Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1387.00,-1.84%), Tata Steel Ltd. (Rs. 134.90,-1.50%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (Rs. 3184.00,-1.37%), among others.
