Indian benchmark equity indices BSE Sensex and Nifty50 are trading higher on Tuesday, tracking gains in global markets after US President Donald Trump's administration announced tariff-related exemptions in the previous week.

At 12:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 76831.8 up by 1674.54 points or by 2.23 % and then NSE Nifty was at 23332.55 up by 504 points or by 2.21 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 76907.63 and intraday low of 76435.07 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 23368.35 and intraday low of 23207

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were IndusInd Bank Ltd. (Rs. 736.20,+6.89%), Tata Motors Ltd. (Rs. 621.80,+4.50%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (Rs. 3248.65,+4.22%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Rs. 1212.00,+4.12%), Axis Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1111.00,+3.89%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Nestle India Ltd. (Rs. 2358.40,-0.10%), Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (Rs. 2365.60,-0.04%), among others.
