Global construction and project management major Turner International has expanded its India operations through an enhanced partnership with WeWork India Management Limited, unveiling a 46,000 sq ft managed office at WeWork Gigaplex in Airoli, Mumbai. The new workspace can accommodate over 650 professionals and marks a significant milestone in Turner’s long-term growth strategy in India.
Designed exclusively for Turner, the managed office blends the company’s global standards of excellence with WeWork India’s signature design and flexibility. The move highlights growing enterprise confidence in flexible and managed workspaces as strategic tools for collaboration, scalability, and cultural alignment.
Commenting on the expansion, Jairam Panch, Chief Operating Officer, Turner International, said the new office reflects Turner’s strong belief in India’s potential and its continued investment in people and talent. He added that the workspace is designed to inspire collaboration, creativity, and operational excellence while staying aligned with Turner’s global ethos.
Turner’s association with WeWork India began in 2022 with a 16-seater private office, and has since evolved into a large, enterprise-grade managed office solution. As the company’s India business scaled up, it sought a workspace that offered flexibility, expandability, and employee convenience without compromising on corporate culture. Based on these requirements, Airoli was identified as an ideal location due to its connectivity, talent pool, and strong business ecosystem.
The newly launched office features an open-plan layout, height-adjustable workstations, modern meeting rooms with frameless glass storefronts, and a caf‚ area that can double up as an event and collaboration zone—maximising flexibility and interaction.
Santosh Martin, Chief Revenue Officer, WeWork India, said the expansion reflects a broader shift among large enterprises toward managed offices that act as enablers of performance, culture, and growth. He noted that Turner’s journey—from a small setup to a 650+ seat office—underscores the rising demand for customised and scalable workspace solutions.
With this addition, WeWork India further strengthens its leadership in the flexible workspace segment. The company operates across eight cities, manages over one lakh desks, and counts nearly 74% of its members as enterprise clients. In Mumbai alone, enterprise customers make up 76% of its member base, spanning sectors such as technology, finance, media, and management.
