JTL Industries has introduced CC Copper (Continuous Cast Copper) as a new addition to its non-ferrous product portfolio, marking a significant expansion beyond its existing brass operations.
Previously, the company’s brass production stood at around 100 metric tonnes per month. With the launch of CC Copper, total monthly production is expected to double to 200 MT, with plans to ramp up further to 500 MT per month by Q4, driven by process optimization and growing market demand.
JTL’s brass products, manufactured at 18 mm thickness and processed down to 0.04 mm, have served diverse industrial applications. CC Copper, with a thickness of 0.08 mm, offers enhanced electrical and thermal performance, catering to high-growth sectors such as:
Electric Vehicles (EVs): Battery connectors, busbars, and motor windings requiring high conductivity and precision.
Renewable Energy: Solar panels, inverters, and wind turbine components needing efficient power transfer.
Infrastructure & Power Distribution: Wiring, switchgear, and earthing solutions for large-scale electrification projects.
Commenting on the launch, JTL Industries’ management said:
“The introduction of CC Copper is a key milestone in expanding our non-ferrous capabilities. It positions us strongly in high-growth sectors like EVs and renewable energy, where quality, precision, and performance are critical. As we scale production, our focus remains on operational excellence and delivering advanced, high-value products that reinforce JTL’s leadership in the non-ferrous space.”
This expansion strengthens JTL’s strategic focus on technology-driven, value-added offerings, supporting future-ready industries and high-margin applications.
