Bihar Sponge Iron Ltd has informed BSE that Bihar State Industrial Development Corporation Limited vide has withdrawn the nomination of Mr. S. Shiva Kumar and nominated Ms. Anshuli Arya in his place.

The Board of Directors of the Company in their meeting held on February 21, 2011 has appointed Ms. Anshuli Arya, Managing Director, Bihar State Industrial Development Corporation Limited (BSIDC) as nominee Director in place of Mr. S. Shiva Kumar.

Further Mr. Vijay Kumar Modi and Mr. J. N. Khurana alternate directors to Dr. W Janke and Mr. G.W. Elsenheimer respectively cease to hold office as director of the Company with effect from February 21, 2011.
