Stock market benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty continued to trade higher on Friday after the RBI cut interest rates by 25 basis points in a bid to further bolster economic growth.
At 11:35 hours, teh 30-share benchmark index was trading at 85576.5 up by 311.18 points or by 0.36 % and then NSE Nifty was at 26136 up by 102.25 points or by 0.39 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 85659.41 and intraday low of 85078.12 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 26149.15 and intraday low of 25985.35
The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Bajaj Finance Ltd. (Rs. 1052.15,+2.24%), HCL Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 1686.95,+1.93%), Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (Rs. 2084.95,+1.69%), Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1624.70,+1.68%), State Bank of India (Rs. 961.50,+1.42%), among others.
