Benchmark indices were seen holding steady gains in intra-day trade on Thursday aided by buying support in index heavyweights - Reliance Industries, HDFC Bank and IT stocks.

At 12:45 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 85119.15 up by 12.34 points or by 0.01 % and then NSE Nifty was at 26025.9 up by 39.9 points or by 0.15 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 85487.21 and intraday low of 84949.98 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 26098.25 and intraday low of 25938.95

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were IndusInd Bank Ltd. (Rs. 865.20,+2.22%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Rs. 3233.20,+1.67%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1567.40,+1.66%), HCL Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 1660.80,+1.29%), Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1592.60,+0.91%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (Rs. 2122.95,-1.05%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (Rs. 15943.75,-0.87%), Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 295.35,-0.84%), ICICI Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1382.30,-0.65%), State Bank of India (Rs. 945.65,-0.60%), among others.
