Indian benchmark indices continued to hover in red during the noon trading session juggling between the weakness in Asian markets and the Bihar election results 2025. Early trends show the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has taken the lead over the Opposition's 'Mahaganthbandan'.

At 12:45 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 84233.9 down by -244.77 points or by -0.29 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25804.85 down by -74.3 points or by -0.29 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 84464.94 and intraday low of 84042.75 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25879.15 and intraday low of 25751.7

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Axis Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1240.00,+1.23%), Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 301.10,+1.14%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1753.00,+0.99%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Rs. 1511.70,+0.93%), Asian Paints Ltd. (Rs. 2895.90,+0.58%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1495.85,-3.01%), Tata Steel Ltd. (Rs. 173.00,-2.04%), Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. (Rs. 391.60,-1.62%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1427.30,-1.62%), ICICI Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1368.15,-1.28%), among others.
